The group members are prizewinners of various international competitions — Prague Spring International Competition, Markneukirchen, Osaka (Japan), Leningrad - St. Petersburg (Russia). The artistic leader Rita Čepurčenko — the graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory, former member of the Leningrad Symphony Orchestra and founder of the Kapralova Quartet — is also the concertmaster of the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK.
Our group has already performed many concerts in the Czech Republic; in October 2011 the group members appeared as soloists with the Charles University Symphony Orchestra in Rudolfinum, the most significant concert hall in Prague, followed by a similar project together with the Prague Symphony Orchestra in Municipal House in Prague. As for the chamber music, the group has performed at festivals in Prague and Broumov, Czech Republic, as well as at the Prague Spring Festival Chamber Music Series, and, recently, also for the Prague Symphony chamber music series to the 80th anniversary of the orchestra. In 2015, Musica Pro Anima has become a part of the new CD of Czech contemporary composer Jakub Zahradník performing two of his compositions.
The string quintet — two violins, viola, cello and double bass — can be easily extended by other instruments, such as flute, clarinet, oboe, French horn, piano or organ, so the ensemble can perform various chamber music compositions.
The ensemble can offers a variety of compositions based upon your request, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please write or give us a call. We are looking forward to hear from you!
